Bunet is a delicious traditional Piedmontese spoon dessert, creamy and chocolatey, perfect to enjoy after a good meal.
To prepare the bunet, begin by pouring the milk and cream into a small saucepan and bringing them to a boil. Meanwhile, finely grind the amaretti in a food processor.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light, fluffy and smooth. Add the unsweetened cocoa powder and mix well.
Add the ground biscuits as well and mix everything together.
When the milk and cream mixture boils, pour it over the beaten eggs, stirring with a whisk. Allow it to cool slightly, then add the coffee and rum and mix everything well.
Butter a pudding mold and pour in the mixture, leveling it well. Bake in a preheated conventional oven at 160°C for about 40 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool completely.
Before serving, decorate the surface with unsweetened cocoa powder and crumbled amaretti. Your bunet is ready.
