
These balls are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, easy and quick to prepare! They are not classic gnocchi, but a tasty version browned directly in the pan. Perfect as a main dish or as a snack for aperitifs.
Blend the cooked broccoli until you obtain a smooth cream.
In a bowl, combine the broccoli cream, the egg, the salt, the flour (a little at a time) and, if you like, the grated Parmesan. Knead until you get a soft, moldable mixture.
Take small portions of the dough and form balls.
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan with the garlic in its skin. Add the balls and cook over medium heat, turning them so they brown well on all sides, covering the pan for 10-15 minutes.
Once golden and crispy, remove the garlic and serve with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan and a grind of fresh pepper.
