  • Slices of stale bread, soaked and squeezed dry4
  • Tomato passata250
  • Fresh basil leavesq.b.
  • Flour2
  • Grated parmesanq.b.
  • Saltq.b.
  • Extra virgin olive oilq.b.

    Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

  2. STEP 2 OF 7

    Spread the mixture onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and a drizzle of oil underneath.

  3. STEP 3 OF 7

    Press the mixture down well: the thinner it is, the crispier it will be.

  4. STEP 4 OF 7

    Add another drizzle of oil on top.

  5. STEP 5 OF 7

    Bake at 200°C in static mode for 10 minutes.

    Switch to fan mode and cook for another 7-8 minutes.

    Check during the last few minutes to avoid burning and make sure it becomes crispy.
