Delicious fried mozzarella balls made in the air fryer, crispy on the outside and gooey inside. Perfect as an appetizer or snack.
Step 1 of 5: Dry the mozzarella balls very well with paper towel until they are practically dry.
Step 2 of 5: Coat the mozzarella balls first in flour, then in the egg and finally in the breadcrumbs with a pinch of salt, shaking the bowl.
Step 3 of 5: Repeat the process for a double coating, dipping the mozzarella balls again in the egg and breadcrumbs.
Step 4 of 5: Place the mozzarella balls in the freezer for at least 45 minutes or even better for a few hours.
Step 5 of 5: Cook the mozzarella balls in the air fryer with a spray of oil at 200 degrees for about 7 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking. Alternatively, bake them at 220 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden, or fry them in plenty of seed oil.
