  • Apples (variety of your choice)2
  • Brown sugar (or granulated sugar)1
  • Ground cinnamon1
  • Lemon juice1
  • Oil spray (optional)q.b.

Preparation

  1. STEP 1 OF 6

    Wash the apples, remove the core if you prefer and slice them very thinly with a sharp knife or mandoline.

  2. STEP 2 OF 6

    Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Add the lemon juice and mix lightly.

  3. STEP 3 OF 6

    Place the apple slices in a bowl and sprinkle them with the sugar and cinnamon mixture, tossing gently to coat.

  4. STEP 4 OF 6

    Arrange the slices in the air fryer in a single layer, avoiding overlap. Lightly spray with oil spray if you want extra crispiness.

  5. STEP 5 OF 6

    Cook in the air fryer at 160°C for about 10-15 minutes, checking the browning: times may vary depending on the thickness of the slices and the model of the fryer.

  6. STEP 6 OF 6

    Let the chips cool on a wire rack; they will become crispier as they cool. Store in an airtight container once cold.
