A quick and delicious mousse made with ripe pears and chocolate: only 2 ingredients (plus optional cinnamon). It is made by cooking the pears, blending them with melted chocolate, and letting it set in the refrigerator.
Peel the pears and cut them into slices.
Cook the pears in a pan with a splash of water for about 10 minutes over medium heat, until they are soft.
Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Blend the soft pears together with the melted chocolate until you get a smooth cream.
Transfer the cream into paper cups or the desired molds.
Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours until the mousse firms up.
Before serving, dust with plenty of cocoa and, if desired, add a hint of cinnamon.
